– Mengadakan pentas mini dalam kampus maupun konser-konser yang mengangkat tema-tema tertentu yang melibatkan pihak internal dan eksternal kampus
– Mengikuti kompetisi kelompok PSM pada tingkat regional, nasional sampai internasional
– Melakukan proses latihan yang teratur & intensif dengan menggunakan metode & materi yang berbobot Paduan Suara Mahasiswa UAJY (PSM-UAJY) adalah salah satu Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa UAJY yang merupakan wadah untuk menampung dan mengembangkan seni bernyanyi secara paduan suara. Kelompok ini resmi berdiri pada tanggal 14 Oktober 1983. Kegiatan PSM UAJY dalam mengekspresikan bakat dan minat disalurkan melalui lomba-lomba, pentas mini di dalam kampus maupun konser-konser yang mengangkat tema-tema tertentu yang melibatkan pihak intern maupun pihak ekstern, seperti unit kegiatan mahasiswa yang lain dan juga kelompok orkestra. Dibawah pelatihan yang diberikan oleh Yason Christy Pranowo, para anggota dididik agar kegiatan bernyanyi tidak hanya sekedar sebagai kebiasaan, namun menjadikannya sebagai sebuah kebutuhan. Persyaratan menjadi anggota adalah mengikuti seleksi dan training di bidang musik dan vokal yang diadakan oleh pengurus dan pelatih PSM-UAJY, yang biasanya diadakan pada awal tahun akademik (sekitar bulan September). Fasilitas tempat latihan di Auditorium gedung Thomas Aquinas Kampus II UAJY, Jalan Babarsari 44 Yogyakarta setiap hari Rabu dan Jumat pukul 18.00-21.00 dengan dilengkapi fasilitas penunjang latihan lainnya (piano). Kegiatan rutin yang dilaksanakan adalah sebagai pengisi acara Wisuda Sarjana & Magister, serta dalam acara Dies Natalis UAJY, mengikuti Lomba Paduan Suara antar perguruan Tinggi, mengikuti Pesparawi yang diadakan setiap dua tahun sekali, kompetisi Internasional, dan pelayanan di gereja-gereja.
